Regenerative medicine and cell therapy
Technology matters. The right indication matters more.
Regenerative medicine includes procedures intended to support repair, recovery and function in selected cases. At Essencia Azul, PRP, peptides and cell therapies are considered only after a clinical evaluation defines indication, risks, alternatives and realistic expectations.
Regenerative medicine and cell therapy
Not every person or injury is a candidate. Prior evaluation determines whether a regenerative intervention may add value within a broader plan.
Persistent joint or tendon pain.
Slow recovery after an injury.
Osteoarthritis or functional wear previously evaluated.
A need to explore complementary alternatives.
Ability to complete rehabilitation and follow-up.
Realistic expectations about timing and variability of response.
Medicine with context and clear priorities
We do not offer cell therapies as an isolated product. Decisions integrate diagnosis, available evidence, regulation, rehabilitation and coordination with other professionals.
Confirm indication
We review diagnosis, imaging, previous treatments and contraindications.
Explain options
We discuss potential benefits, limits, alternatives and costs.
Apply with judgment
A procedure is performed according to individual medical judgment and regulatory availability.
Support recovery
Follow-up and rehabilitation are part of functional recovery.
Safety before novelty
The type of procedure and its availability are confirmed only after evaluation.
Medical evaluation and diagnostic review.
Informed discussion of options and alternatives.
Procedure, when indicated and available.
Clinical follow-up and recovery plan.

Before you begin
Do cell therapies cure pain?
A cure cannot be promised. They are intended to support repair and recovery processes in selected cases; results may vary.
Can everyone receive PRP or peptides?
No. There are contraindications and situations where another alternative is more appropriate. Prior medical evaluation is mandatory.
Are therapies always available?
Availability depends on medical judgment, authorized providers and current regulation in Costa Rica.
Do they replace surgery or rehabilitation?
Not necessarily. They may complement a plan but do not automatically replace indicated surgery, rehabilitation or conventional care.
